Vented Wells
Vented wells from 150 or 200mm diameter steel pipes, hinged 1.5m from ground level. A holder at the hinge is used for placing activated carbon for odour control. Vents are generally installed in a 750mm deep concrete base with the gas well running into the vent pipe.
Vents can be fitted with fixed cages or rotating cowls and be manufactured out of PE or stainless steel.
Various diameters, heights and colours can be offered to suit specifications.
Pin Wells
We currently install 90mm and 63mm pin wells to typical depths of 10-15m dependent on ground conditions.
These can be with or without stone surround, and fitted with headworks as for gas wells depending on the requirements of the client.
Temporary Casings
Temporary casings are used to keep the borehole open in bad ground conditions prior to the installation of the required final pipe installation..
The use of casings ensures that the final installation is lowered into a clean borehole, a clean and guaranteed stone pack is placed for the entire depth of the borehole and that the stone is uncontaminated from the silts and mud's generated from the drilling process.
Casing can be installed from a diameter of 125mm up to 520mm.
