Our latest rig is designed specifically for the drilling of geothermal boreholes and water wells.
This 15 ton rig has a drilling stroke of 4.70m, and is fitted with a dual drilling head capable of installing casing and drilling rods simultaneously, which dependent on ground conditions can lead to quicker borehole production.
The machine is fully fitted with complimentary equipment that enables the production of the borehole to be carried out to depths quicker and safer with less operator fatigue.
It can handle drilling rods with its specialised rod handling system to depths in excess of 150m, or a combination of drilling rods and temporary casings for bad ground conditions to a maximum borehole diameter of 254mm.
The 205 GT is complete with its own water/misting pump giving a better equipped machine in a smaller package for this type of work and compliments our specialised trailer mounted grout mixing and pumping unit giving professionally installed boreholes faster and cleaner.
