FD 2000 HD
This is a 35 ton rig capable of drilling the various types of wells listed and piling works. It has a 360 degree rotational body independent of the tracked undercarriage.
The FD 2000 HD has a longer undercarriage, designed for less ground displacement to reduce the damage that can be created on softer grounds.
Drilling on inclines can be achieved quite readily with the powerful undercarriages, adjustable mast and outriggers making these rigs extremely stable on adverse ground conditions.
This FD series are fully convertible to the base machine it was designed around, allowing it to be used for piling and grouting.
The drilling stroke is 10m, and is fitted with a multi torque drilling head capable of producing in excess of 5 tons per metre rotational torque.
The draw down and pull back is in excess of 25000 Nm, allowing larger diameter and deeper wells to be drilled.
CFA and barrel drilling is limited to 520mm diameter to a maximum depth in excess of 70m for landfill drilling and in excess of 150m in other strata's.
Investigation wells with the FD series rigs can be taken in excess of 300m for various virgin ground strata's.
